15th Oct 2011, Pakistan cabinet made a request of 5 working days per week all over the country. Pakistan state bank declared central bank and other banks' time table adjustment. Its details are as follows,

central bank (9:00-17:30 Monday to Thursday, 13:30-14:15 is lunch time and praying time) (9:00-18:00 Friday, 13:00-14:30 is lunch tim ad praying time), other banks refers to these for execution. But the tax levy bank in Custom has t be opened in full day for working. Addtionally, central bank asks all banks and financial affiliates have to ensure all ATM all over the country to be available use in the weekend.

News saying, to supply bank convenience for business activity, most banks' branches could be open on Saturday, but need be registered in central bank in advance. Central bank request those banks to operate " absolutely necessary" activity, including cash in/out, governmet income collect (revenue and custom tax etc), government expense (pension and salary etc), on line transaction, capital transfer, water and electricity fees collect, gurantee and travel cheque opening, cheque and other documents collect (exchange will be done in next working day), commodity documents collect and import/export L/C and home busiess L/C opening etc.

Some foreign capital enterprises begin to follow this regulation too.
